  • How long will I have access to the course?
  • How does lifetime access sound?! As long as the course is in existence, you’ll have access to it! That means you can do the program on your own schedule then revisit the modules whenever you need a little tune-up. The practices and exercises are designed to be done over and over again as you progress through The Anti-Diet Plan journey. You’ll also have lifetime access to the private Facebook community and we are in it to support you for the long-haul.

  • How much time will this program take? It seems like a lot of material to get through.
  • If you stick to the 6-week timeline, expect to spend 1-2 hours per week on the materials. That includes watching the 2-4 video lessons (about 15 minutes each) as well as practicing the eating  exercises, guided meditations, and homework assignments. We recommend that you prioritize and schedule the time to really engage with the program. Our issues with food didn't develop overnight and unfortunately they are not going to disappear overnight either. The good news is that we are here with you to support you along the way. If  you are struggling to find the time to engage in the program, we are happy to brainstorm ideas to try and make it work with your schedule.

    And feel free to go at your own pace! While The Anti-Diet Plan is designed as a 6-week program, you can do it on whatever timeline works best for you. As you'll learn in the course, it's all about doing what works for you! 

  • I want to lose weight. Is this program for me?
  • Many people who enter The Anti-Diet Plan want to lose weight. However, The Anti-Diet Plan is not a weight loss program. Instead, we focus on improving our health and wellbeing now, in our current bodies. There are a few reasons for this:

    • Studies show that body weight is determined by complex factors that are largely outside of our control. Intentional weight loss tends to have very poor outcomes and most people (over 80%) who lose weight tend to regain it over time. This cycle of losing and regaining weight again and again wrecks havoc on our health and our emotional state. I can not ethically recommend you do something that has little chance of working and has a high likelihood of causing you harm. 
    • While we don't have much control over our weight, we have far more control over our behaviors. In The Anti-Diet Plan, we focus on making behavioral changes to improve our health and wellbeing. These behavioral changes have been shown in research to make a far greater impact on our health than our weight.
